Can I buy land in Kenya while living abroad?⌄
Yes. Clients in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, South Africa and Rwanda buy remotely: virtual tours, document signing, payment and title delivery, with no need to be in Kenya.
How do I verify the land if I am not in Kenya?⌄
We provide title deed copies, survey maps and ownership records, which you can verify independently at the Ministry of Lands. You can also appoint a trusted representative or advocate to visit on your behalf.
How do I make payment from abroad?⌄
International bank transfers in USD, GBP, AUD and other currencies, M-Pesa for local buyers, or structured diaspora financing through NCBA Bank and Co-operative Bank, where the bank pays AMCCO directly.
How long until I receive my title deed?⌄
Individual title deeds are processed and delivered in as little as 30 days after full payment, locally or internationally.
Can I buy jointly with a spouse, sibling or friend?⌄
Yes. We support joint ownership for couples, siblings, business partners, women's groups and investment chamas. We guide you through the right documentation.
Can I use Buy & Build on land I already own?⌄
Buy & Build applies to land bought from AMCCO Properties, so we can guarantee title quality, plot suitability and coordination from start to finish.
Can I customise the house plans, and can I use my own bank?⌄
Yes to both. Our architects can adjust layouts, features and finishes, which can affect the price. We work with any bank and supply the documents it needs for land valuation and construction financing.
How long does construction take?⌄
It depends on the plan and any customisation. Your project manager gives you a schedule during consultation. Most builds finish within 6 to 12 months of groundbreaking.
What is included in the house plan price?⌄
Construction as per the approved plans: foundation, walls, roofing, plumbing, electrical, finishes, solar water heater and landscaping. Furniture and appliances are not included.
